Since 2021, the Nandiman's family has been transforming this land in the red-soiled heart of Andhra Pradesh — from freshly cleared earth to a thriving eucalyptus grove now standing 20 feet tall.
From bare cleared earth to a green grove reaching for the sky — every photo tells the story of three years of care and growth.
In just a few short years, this six-acre property has been transformed by the hands and hearts of the Nandiman's family.
The six-acre property in Chaganam Raju Palem, Sydapuram Mandalam, was purchased by the family — a new chapter in the Nandiman's family story. With the guidance of grandparents Ravindra Raju and Udaya Lakshmi, whose farming wisdom spans decades, the family began planning what this land could become.
Ravindra Raju took charge of transforming the raw land. The entire property was carefully cleared and leveled, then planted with eucalyptus saplings — each one placed by hand, row after row. Workers tended the young plants through their first fragile months, manually weeding and maintaining the field to give every sapling its best chance.
Just one year after planting, the eucalyptus trees stood 20 feet tall — a testament to the fertile red soil, careful maintenance, and the family's dedication. The once-bare field is now a young forest, growing taller with every season.
The grove continues to thrive under the family's care. What began as an empty plot in 2021 is now six acres of living green — a long-term investment in the land, and a story the Nandiman's family is proud to keep writing.
One crop, grown with total dedication — six acres of eucalyptus reaching for the Andhra sky.
Planted in 2024 across all six acres, our eucalyptus grove is the heart of Ishika Farms. These fast-growing trees are a smart long-term investment — prized for their timber and known for thriving in Andhra Pradesh's climate and red soil.
Every tree was planted by hand, and the grove is maintained through regular manual weeding and care. In just one year, the trees have grown from small saplings to over 20 feet tall — and they're still climbing.
Ishika Farms is located in the village of Chaganam Raju Palem in Sydapuram Mandalam, Andhra Pradesh. We welcome anyone who wants to learn more about the farm and its story.
